We just bought a new "old-fashioned hand push" lawn mower. For $100 bucks, we replaced the old particulate-spewing, gasoline burning, noisy rock-thrower with something that leaves a zero carbon footprint, and works just as well (except for the occasional rebellious sprig of timothy grass... and it'll keep those under control if we don't procrastinate).

And as for being "too hard to push", well... we had to push the other one, too!
