Listening to local radio programming today talking about the Skins in the past week helped alleviate my feelings that I was the source of the bad luck. Many have cited the fact there were just so many terrible towels in the field and the fact that we had to go to a silent count in our own stadium is just awful. I wanted to run down the field and pull a face mask myself on their defenseman who was pumping up the Steelers fans to make noise during our offense.

This bye-week has been good as I can, along with the other Skins players can collect ourselves mentally.

I also think we really helped us out more by acquiring the new Corner <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3688600&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines" rel="nofollow">DeAngelo Hall</a>.

Romo will be back, but unpracticed and there are still many banged up Cowgirls in the lineup. I just hope, in a transient town as DC is, that next weekend, we show Dallas who really is the best in the NFC.

As for the no girlfriend thing, telling you today hopefully cleared that up. I never agreed with it, but it gave me some alone time.

I don't think that you going to the game or wearing a certain jersey is bad luck. I chalk up Monday's game to a poor performance by all. In previous games, the skins were unified in their approach of offense and defense. How else could we have dealt an "L" to Dallas (when they were good) and the Eagles in their houses?!?! I can guarantee you, Andrea, that you are not the bad luck at the games. As a matter of fact, the number of Steeler's fans at the stadium was sickening - and the skins didn't get the normal amount of skins' fan support as usual because it was a late, Monday night game. Only Steeler's fans have the time to take two days off of work and travel 5 hours leaving enough time to get drunk and be rowdy - people in DC gotta work, man!!!

BTW, what is the "no girlfriend rule" at skins games - I'm unaware, but may be a believer. hehe...

Tough one. We shouldn't let superstition drive our participation but I'm no better. I remember refusing to watch John Elway & the Broncos win their first superbowl because every time I watched they lost. So I sat and prayed and peeked in about every 30 minutes to check the scores. I don't regret it and would do it again. I know that this is no help at all but you have to do what makes you feel comfortable.
