Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has urged his team-mates to bounce back. After their 3-2 home defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League .
Manchester United have been inconsistent since the arrival of Ruben Amorim in their first four games in all competitions, most recently losing 2-3 at home to Nottingham Forest. With Rasmus Hojlund and Bruno Fernandes scoring twice in the game.
“It’s not what we wanted to concede at home against Forest. We knew we should have got something back but we conceded goals that we shouldn’t have. We can say that and again we have to do better, we have to do better in every aspect.”
“The game was frustrating because we conceded early in the first half and the second half. It was part of what killed the momentum of the game and the confidence of the team and the fans.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United will play two more games in a row against Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League and a crucial “Manchester Derby” against Manchester City.
“We have another game in the next three or four days. So we need to be ready, and one of them is definitely a derby,” Hojlund said.
WHAT RASMUS HOJLUND SAID
Speaking to ยูฟ่าเบท Sports, Hojlund said: “Annoying goals of course, we need to do better, specifically on corners. We’ve conceded too much now but I’m sure we’ll improve.
“I think it’s more about us being in a new position, new ideas, new set-piece coach, but we need to understand his ideas. It’s a lot to take in but we need to deal with it, we are Manchester United and we need to do better. There’s a lot of games left but it’s not an ideal situation, but we need to try and stay positive.”
